Hi guys,

I have a question...is it possible to adjust letter spacing for specific font? I have a font that is great, but would really like to increase spacing between characters.

Can this be done with pdfsharp or migradoc? If it can...a tip would be welcome. :)

Maybe it is also worth mentioning that I am creating a pdf. I load a template and then write on it.

Thank you.

Best,
Sinisa

Hi!

With PDFsharp you can draw character by character - and calculate the position for every character as needed.

With MigraDoc you can add spaces between the characters. And Unicode includes a lot small spaces in the U+2000 through U+200A range: "Hair Space", "Thin Space", "Punctuation Space", "Figure Space", "Six-Per-Em Space", "Four-Per-Em Space". It seems that Hair Space, Thin Space, and Six-Per-Em Space are the smallest spaces available.

AFAIK there is no built-in feature to increase the character spacing.

Thomas,

thank you for your fast reply. I am using pdfSharp and based on your answer there's no good reason for switching to MigraDoc,so I'll just draw character by character. Thanks.

Cheers!
