all my attempts to measure the width of a (single) space (either regular or the alt255 one) result only in 0;
I use the TextMeasurement class and all other measurements are OK, but to pad properly with spaces I'd like to get its width; I use 'i' for now, but this is neither right nor font-stable..

looks like a bug to me..

Here's a code snippet that calculates the width of a space:

Looks like a feature, not a bug.
