Hi,
Trying to build and run the sample projects (VB version) in VS2008 I get an error "Assembly signing failed; output may not ne signed -- The system cannot find the file specified."

I did have to change the location of the pdfsharp.dll reference before it would even get this far.

Under the signing tab I have unchecked both the checkboxes for signing OneClick manifests and the assembly, but it still gives the same error.

Apologies if this is actually a VS problem rather than PDFsharp - but can anyone throw any light on it?

Many thanks

The error message says "The system cannot find the file specified" - that's a good explanation for the signing to fail.
The real problem could be another error that prevents an assembly to be generated.

Call "Rebuild All" and look at the first error message that shows in the Output window. Feel free to post the contents of the Output window here if you cannot solve the problem.

I got the same error, and it turned out the reason was that it was trying to sign one of the subsequent dlls.. when it hadn't compiled the pdfsharp one... so the file it could not find was the pdfsharp.dll, not what you might have thought.
Apply one of the fixes in this topic and try again..
