I'm getting an assembly error in .netframework 4.72

Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Extensions.Logging.Abstractions, Version=6.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=adb9793829ddae60' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. ---> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Extensions.Logging.Abstractions, Version=6.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=adb9793829ddae60' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

NuGet installed version 9.0.4 and all the DLLs are sitting in the same directory as the executable. When I try to download version 6.0.0 of the microsoft package all sorts of compiler warnings happen. What am I doing wrong?

Don't ignore the warnings, read them.
You can clone the repository and re-compile PDFsharp for a different logging version.
