Hi Team,

We have migrated SSRS 2008 R2 report in SSRS 2016. After migration, we found that PDF sharp is not able to extract the Unicode charter-like Chr(222) and Chr(255) correctly. However, these characters are coming correctly in PDF and can be copied and paste into the notepad. Also, It is working fine in SSRS 2008 R2 PDF.

Could you please help on this issue and let me know if any additional information is needed.

Regards,
Rahul Gupta

Hi Team,

As per your previous comment, I have created sample application to reproduce the issue. I am attaching here the "SampleApplicationForSSRS2016PDFAndPDFSharp.zip" which contains SSRS 2016 version of PDFs(SSRS_2016_Sample_PDF.pdf). Using this code I am able to read Unicode charter-like Chr(222) and Chr(255) correctly from SSRS 2008 R2 PDF. However, same code is not working for SSRS 2016 PDF.

Could you please look into this and let me know if additional information is needed.

Note- Due to size limitation I am not able to send SSRS 2008 R2 sample PDF. Please let me know if that's required as well.

Regards,
Rahul Gupta
