Hello,
I'm using PdfSharp 1.50.4845-RC2a.
I have an error on XRef table reading a PDF file:
Quote:
Invalid entry in XRef table, ID=15, Generation=0, Position=0, ID of referenced object=5, Generation of referenced object=0

I tried to open the document using Adobe Reader and save it, then compare the saved version with the original, but PDF versions are different (original PDF 1.3, Adobe has 1.4).
The document is sent by a web service with send similar ones; I have this issue only sometimes and I believe that the problem is caused by languages such as japanese or russian used in documents.
Can you support me with this error? I attached a test file

Hi Gabriele,

I've the same problem, posted it here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3834&p=11815&hilit=Invalid+entry+in+XRef+table%2C#p11815
Do not have any answer yet.

Would you be kind to described the workaround you did in more details?

Thank you

PDFsharp was not built to deal with corrupt PDF files.
If the entry with ID 15 points to an object with the ID 5 then the PDF files appears to be somewhat corrupt.
