We use PDFSharp to merge many documents into one, and these documents include many streams (logo images, etc) that are identical. After upgrading from 0.9.653.0 to 1.2.1269.0, we were puzzled as to why our output file size suddenly ballooned. After poking around in reflector, I see that code in PdfObject.ImportClosure that found and merged duplicate streams using a hashtable was removed. What was the reason for this? Is it something that could be added back in? |
