Is there any specific support for PDF/A?

I realise that to a first approximation, PDF/A is really just PDF restricted to version 1.4 features with mandatory embedded fonts, but it would be nice (for our use in healthcare) to have a means to ensure PDF/A compliance!

We're a small software development house, and are delighted to have found PDFSharp, so if the work hasn't already been done, we'd happily look at adding it ourselves if anyone could give us some pointers on where to start in the source!

We have it on our requested features list.

Already discussed here:
