Post subject:  How can I add a Free Text Area in the PDF?

Hello,
I am currently using MigraDOC to generate a PDF in a WPF application. My Question, is it possible to create a free text control (Text Box) in the generated PDF where the user can add some text to it in the PDF reader later on? Either using MigraDOC or PDFsharp.

If yes can you point me to some sample code.

Thanks,
Sameh

Hi!

Acroforms are not really my area of expertise, but I think they are what you are looking for.

I think you have to go back to PDFsharp 1.31 to find the Acroforms sample.

Hello Thomas,

Thanks for your reply. My problem is that I can not find a way to create a form using PDFsharp. All what I can find related to Acroforms is how to retrieve the fields and the fill them but what I want to do is actually add textbox in my PDF.

I am not sure if this is possible even with PDFSharp.

Best regards,
Sameh
