I'm using PDF sharp to combine a bunch of PDFs and add a barcode to the beginning of each PDF added.

I've encountered an issue where a single PDF document that was combine with a bunch seems to have lost its Font. It causes Adobe to fail to show the PDF, saying an error occured and that the PDF is missing its font. In Foxit, the PDF shows, but the document is having sereve font issues.

The rest of the combine pdf is fine. The original PDF (prior to adding the barcode & combining) has no such issue.

Are there any issues known to cause this issue by drawing a barcode or combing PDFs that causes a PDF to lose its font?

Hi!

Can you provide an SSCCE that allows us to reproduce the issue?

Hello,

I haven't had time to build an SSCCE example for you, but I do have news.

After another failed run we determined we an obscene memory leak in an application pool.

We haven't had any issues with lost fonts, blank pages, or dots instead of the fonts except for when that memory leak occurs.

So I suppose the issue here is combing pdfs & drawing on a pdf when memory is low.

If I have further issue, I'll submit an SSCCE for you guys, but by my observation and test runs - PDFSharp does exactly what I need it to do.

Thanks!
