Hello

I am using VB.NET under Visual Studion 2013 (only for a few month!)
I have been putting the "pdfsharp.dll" to my project and do the needed IMPORTS and so it works.
I haven't had a look on MigraDoc until today. But as far as I understand it would be helpful to work with it. But I haven't got a clue how that will work.
I downloaded the "PDFsharp-MigraDocFoundation-Assemblies-1_32" with all the DLLs in it. Do I need all of them? And what is the different between GDI+ and WPF?

What I need is to make reports. Most of them have a Header and a Footer. Lot of them have tables. So it looks easier to use MigraDocs and make pdf with PdfSharp !?!?

I downloadet all the help files as well. But I have no idea how to read them?!?

Sorry, a lot of questions.

Hi!

You can use NuGet to get MigraDoc.

If you want to add them manually, use either the GDI assemblies or the WPF assemblies. In most environments, both version will work.

The files from PDFsharp-Help-Standalone-1_31.zip can be viewed with the help viewer that comes with Windows.

I tried the stand-alone version just with doubleclick. But I can only see the menu on the left side. When I click on any topic in that menu nothing happens. I am working with Win 7 - 64 bit.
Thanks so far

Open the properties for the .CHM file and click on "Unblock".

It works! I managed to start the "Hello World" Sample.
But I failed with "Hello MigraDoc".

I'm working with VB.NET and not with C#. Is it possible to get this code in VB?
I tried to convert the code here:
http://converter.telerik.com/
but I must admit, that I have not the right idea where to put which SUB  I am not only new with MigraDoc, I am new at VB.NET coming from the very old VB 4 :?
I want to start the document-code by clicking a button.

Thank you!

Not right now.

The C# samples show you the classes and methods you can use. C# or VB.NET are just different syntaxes that use the same classes.
Just add the references you need and Visual Studio will help you with the Usings if you use the correct class names.
