Hi there,

I need to make an area of text with a graphical border around it. The trouble is I will not know the size of the text until runtime (i.e. it's not a fixed size). so, I'm wondering if there is a way to set an image for a TextFrame and have it auto-scale to the correct size.

Alternatively, can I find out the height of a block of text in order to scale the image manually?

Thanks in advance!

I think you can have a border around a paragraph.

You surely can have a border around a table - and the table grows with the contents. There is one limitation: a single row must fit on one page.

You can put each new paragraph in a new row - this will allow the table (and the "frame") to break to several pages.

MigraDoc is open source, so you can get all the information you need.
