As a third party vendor you provide the PDF Sharp tool that is used to apply a soft crop for clients that require this in their workflow. Once the soft crop has been applied the PDF the producer in the PDF name changes to be PDF Sharp (see the screen shot). Are you able to clarify if this alter the PDF version in any way?

We provide the PDFsharp library.
Third parties can use this library to create tools.

PDFsharp is able to read PDF files into memory, make modifications while in memory, and write the data to a new PDF file.

What you see in Adobe Reader and after printing should be exactly the same (unless the library was used to make modifications), but the PDF file will be a new file.

This may not answer your question. Please explain your question if the answer was not helpful.

Once the PDF has been created through the PDFSharp engine why they are including two meta tags within the PDF, these being '/group' and '/transparency' when your product has finished/cropped the PDF?

Our product is a library.

A program can use our library to modify PDF files.

Which program are we talking about? Could be a third party program and we do not know what third party programs do with our library.
