Post subject:  Create reusable template that can be populated dynamically

Forgive me if this has been answered already, but after looking through the examples, I can't quite seem how to figure out how to do what I need to, which is this : I need to have a template (html? pdf?) that is static, a common form, that I will use to populate with data for several different customers. I can see how to create a pdf document, and how to populate one, but how can I create a pdf "template" with the labels and field placeholders that I can then populate with data from an external source?

I'm sure there is something here already about how exactly to do that, and I am missing it. I greatly appreciate any assistance/info you can provide.

Thanks!

I was really hoping to get an answer to this, as currently, we are just creating the document every time we need it and populating it with the values passed in. Surely there must be a way to save the 'blank' document, and assign values to specific fields on it - or maybe not?

Again, any advice or assistance is greatly appreciated.

IMHO it's nicer to create all text from MigraDoc.

Existing PDF files can be used as "stationary", providing logos and other graphical elements.
