When I try to open one particular PDF file (Link to that file) I get: System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. It's a very rare problem. I tried a lot different PDFs from different sources, but only two PDFs could not be open because of this problem. Maybe somebody knows what's wrong with this file? |

That file failed the Acrobat test: I opened it with Acrobat, then closed it - and Acrobat prompted to save changes. So Acrobat found and corrected problems with the file. The saved file can be opened with PDFsharp (size was reduced by more than 50 %). |

The file is corrupted. It's not a bug in PDFsharp. Adobe Reader ignores the corrupted data and displays the file, PDFsharp cannot (yet) do this. |
