I'm working on a program that downloads a PDF file, strips out one page and saves it. I need to embed an identifier code within the PDF so an automated system knows where to file the PDF, but embed it in such a way as it does not modify the appearance of the PDF at all. I was wondering if the PDF spec has a "comment" feature, and if so, how would I use PDFSharp to insert it into the PDF before I save it?

P.S. It'd be really cool if someone could publish a complete object reference.

For commenting, could you use the PDFSharp.Pdf.PdfDocumentInformation? Beyond that, I haven't noticed anything else myself offhand, but I only started using this software yesterday.

As for reference documentation, since I was looking for something similar myself and couldn't find it..
I just built documentation for the latest version (v1.31.1789.0) using Sandcastle and have posted it on my site.

Admins, I'd be all to happy to zip it and send it your way if you'd like to throw it on your site somewhere.
