Post subject:  Embed external PDF using transparent background/opacity

Hi all,

I have a question about embedding content from an external PDF file.

There's many samples that embed content from an external PDF file,
however, it appears the samples also 'embed' the white canvas of the
external PDF. I understand this is 'by definition', and not a bug.

However, for my solution i would like to be able to skip replicating
the white canvas; i want the content of the external PDF to
be replicated, and to draw the elements of a specific page on top
of my existing page, in a transparent / opaque way.

Do you think its possible to accomplish this? (I assume the white canvas / page
itself can maybe be skipped when the 'DOM' elements are enumerated
and replicated?).

Thanks very much for any response.

Regards,
Gert-Jan Bark

Hi, Gert-Jan,

most PDF files don't have a white canvas (at least most of the PDF files we deal with).

Transparent areas of the PDFs will remain transparent.
