Post subject:  No italic text in PDF generated from MigraDoc document
Hi,

I noticed that when I add a paragraph to a MigraDoc document where the font has the italic style set, in the rendered PDF document the text is not in italic. The same happens when I add a FormattedText and set its Italic property to true. Bold style works correctly. Is it a known bug?

Italic works, but you must use a font that includes Italic.

Typically a font comes with 4 files (regular, bold, italic, bold italic). With such a font Italic will work.

If you only got regular and bold files, Italic will not work in PDF.

That's not a bug, but it's a missing feature we have on our TODO list.

OK, I see it works with Times New Roman (it didn't work for Tahoma). I have to ask again: any public schedule for the new release? :)

its also worth noting that if you use a non standard font, you will need to embed it in your pdf. becuase if the users pc doesnt have it installed, it will default to arial or whatever.
