Hi all, I have found a new thing and donot whether other have found such kind of finding. In my application where pdf are generated by PdfSharp. The contents of pdf is both text and graphics. However, by the PdfCreator if I convert this pdf to pdf, then the file size reduce radically. For example, PDFSharp generate a pdf file with 9 MB and with PDFCreator I can convert a file which is 670KB. I am not sure whether quality of the image degrade or not. Please can any one give me the behind reason for this. Thanks in advance. |

Hi! The DEBUG build of PDFsharp creates "human readable" PDF files with some comments, the RELEASE build uses no comments and more compression and thus gives smaller files. I hope you used a RELEASE build for your comparison. |

Hi true, Thanks for your reply. I have tried with your suggestion but I found the same result. Is there any relation with PostScript fonts which is used by PDFCreator? Thanks in advance. |
