Hi!

Before asking question here, please check our FAQ lists:
PDFsharp FAQ list
MigraDoc FAQ list

This forum is for PDFsharp and MigraDoc as published by empira Software GmbH.
When asking questions about ports of PDFsharp/MigraDoc to other platforms or about tools that incorporate versions of PDFsharp/MigraDoc, make sure to note in your question that it is not about the original PDFsharp and MigraDoc libraries.
Questions about other products should be asked in other places.

Searching this forum and the PDFsharp Wiki could also help you answer your question.

The new PDFsharp Web Site: http://www.pdfsharp.net/
The new PDFsharp Wiki: http://www.pdfsharp.net/wiki/
The official packages on NuGet: https://www.nuget.org/profiles/PDFsharp-Team
The official repository (library and samples) on GitHub: https://github.com/empira

Information you should include when asking for support here
When asking for support, please indicate what you're using:
  • PDFsharp or MigraDoc Foundation
  • GDI+ or WPF build
  • NuGet packages or full PDFsharp/MigraDoc source code (Note: when using the source code package, switch to RELEASE build to get small PDF files)
  • the version of PDFsharp/MigraDoc Foundation
  • specific information what you try to achieve, how you attempt this, and what does not work as expected
  • If you are using a port of the official empira libraries, then you must indicate this in your question; this forum is for the official libraries and you may not get answers if the problem is related to ports of the library simply because forum users may never have heard about the port you are using; please try to replicate the issue with the official libraries

Thanks!

Rules of Conduct
This forum has some Rules of Conduct.
Be nice and follow the Netiquette - don't SHOUT, don't play with font sizes and font color for text body.

Requests for Help
If there are bugs in PDFsharp or MigraDoc, we surely try to fix them. We also try to make PDFsharp more tolerable if it cannot read PDF files that do not fully comply with the PDF Reference.
We can only do that if we can replicate the problem.
And the best way for us is a complete Visual Studio project submitted to use as a single ZIP file that we only have to unzip, compile, and run to replicate the problem. We no longer spend time to turn code snippets into applications we can debug - too often the problem was outside the snippet shown on the forum and the application we created from the code snippet worked like a charm.
Showing source code snippets in the forum or attaching PDF files without code will often be insufficient to replicate the problem.
You can submit your PDF files and/or source code via e-mail if there is sensitive information you do not want to show on the forum.
We have created Issue Submission Templates for both PDFsharp and MigraDoc. You can find them here with further information.
Please delete the NuGet packages from the ZIP before uploading it to the forum to keep the upload small.

Requests for Help with MigraDoc
If there are problems with MigraDoc, then an MDDDL file may be sufficient to investigate the problem.
This Wiki article explains how to create MDDDL files.
Note: In your code you should create the MDDDL file before you prepare and render the document.

File Attachments
Posts may include images and archives as attachments. Text files, PDF files, other documents, and source code must be zipped to be attached to a post.
There is a limit of 256 kiB per file with a limit of 3 files per post.
Please use ZIP files (not .RAR or .7Z or .LZH or .ICE or .ARJ).
