I ran the Protect PDF example. On some PDFs it is fine. On others it chops off the top (it appears to be a few inches).

This sounds similar to reported bugs on here and SO.

Can I d/l the 1.5 beta to see if that fixes it?

Alternatively, do you have another workaround?

Issue resolved. RC2 fixed this problem.
