I am wanting to align 2 charts Horizontally, but I can only get the to align vertically. Is there a way to set up columns when I create a document?

MigraDoc?
You can use a table with two columns.
Shapes can be placed at absolute positions. If charts are not derived from Shape, then you can still add them to TextFrame objects.
I'd try a table first.
