Could anyone please explain how you use the import facility listed in the overview, I actually want to import an xml document into migradoc (or straight into pdfsharp but I believe this isn't possible).

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello,

I am referring to the feature listed on the MigraDoc feature page

•Import data from various sources via XML files or direct interfaces (any data source that can be used with .NET)

I am trying to find out how to use this facility.

Thank you

Tim

Any data source that returns strings can be used to get strings that can be added to MigraDoc documents.
That's what this statement means.

Thanks for the reply.
Does that mean that the formatting within xml is not preserved and it is only the text that is imported ?

Formatting is not preserved automatically and it's up to you to pass strings with the required formatting to MigraDoc.

Thank you, that explains why I couldn't get it to work, I'll write a simple parser (I only need a subset of the formatting).

Best Regards
Tim
