PDFsharp & MigraDoc Foundation

Hi,

I have some existing code that displays a report using System.Windows.Forms.PrintPreviewDialog. Users are used to seeing the report in that dialog. I plan to store old versions of these reports in PDF format and I really would like to show them in the same PrintPreviewDialog.

I found there is a MigraDocPrintDocument, but everything I've tried doesn't work. I guess the problem is being able to load an existing PDF file into a Migra Document object? And I saw an older forum post on here that suggested it couldn't print images that are in documents.

Also the forum posts suggested an external tool would have to be used to print PDFs OR a user could export to images and then print those. Before I even knew about MigraDocPrintDocument, I was trying to print a PdfDocument to images and then print them through a custom PrintDocument implementation, but I couldn't really figure out how.

Can someone give me some guidance?

MigraDoc does not render PDF files (neither does PDFsharp).
There is no way to get MigraDoc to display PDF files.

You can embed Adobe Reader to display PDF files.
